Get in Touch
Want to be a guest? Have a question or suggestion? Just send it!
ARunninThought is a Big Island home-studio, talk-story-and-music kind of space. It’s low key, mostly unscripted, and built for people who just want to sit down, breathe a little, and share what they’re about.
Musicians, small business owners, food trucks, service industry folks, community builders, or just regular-ass humans with a story. You’re all welcome here. Fill out the form, let us know what you are about and find answers about what to expect below.
1. Submit the guest form
You fill out the contact form with who you are, what you do, and why you’d like to come on.
I keep a running list in the order forms come in.
ARunninList, if you will…
2. ART reaches out in order received
When it’s your turn, I’ll email or message you to set up a date and time.
If you’re no longer available or interested, no worries. Just let me know.
3. We lock a date & send releases
Once we agree on a date/time, I’ll send you the guest release forms to e-sign.
These cover things like:
These forms need to be e-signed before you come to the studio.
4. Plan a 3-hour window
The “talk story” part is usually around an hour, sometimes a bit more or less.
Please block up to three hours total in case we need setup time, extra takes, or the conversation just flows.
5. No reschedules / missed sessions
If you miss your scheduled date and time, with no-show or late cancellation, there are no reschedules for that slot.
You’re welcome to submit a brand-new request through the form and go back into the queue.
6. Recording
The vibe is casual, not corporate. Think “friend’s living room with good mics” instead of a stiff studio.
Expect about an hour for the main conversation, longer only if we’re both feeling it and have time.
For musical guests:
7. What Happens After We Record?
Once we wrap, your part is mostly pau. mine continues a bit longer.
Audio and video will be edited for clarity and flow.
The final episode will be uploaded to:
You’ll receive:
Then, truly, you’ve got a friend for life. The idea is to ride the wave together as people discover your story, songs, business, or services alongside everyone else who sits in the chair.
