Studio Rules

“Rules Of The Road”

This all happens in a home studio setting, so there are some basic house rules to keep it safe, respectful, and pono.

Appointed time only
Do not show up on the premises before or after your appointed time-slot unless we are aware and have cleared it. Donʻt do it.

No “borrowing” things from the studio
If you have a problem with sticky fingers, get help. No come here. Homey donʻt play that.

Shoes off, manners on
Shoes are to be checked at the door.
Manners are not to be checked at the door. Come correct.

No illegal stuff
No illegal drugs on the property.
No filming while clearly intoxicated or unable to hold a coherent conversation.
Cigarette smoke is not allowed in or around the studio; cigars may be permitted outdoors only, at my discretion.

Respect the space & gear
No littering, no destruction of property, no roughhousing with the gear.
Do not plug your own equipment into studio speakers/amps or start “testing” things without permission. Blown speakers and fried gear are not part of the fun and my amp only goes to 10, sadly.

Behavior expectations
No abusive, threatening, or otherwise foul behavior toward anyone on-site.

No weapons. Period.
If things start feeling unsafe, disrespectful, or just off, the session ends.

If you break the rules
You will be asked to leave the premises.
You will be invoiced for any damages to equipment or property.
You will be placed on a blacklist for future appearances.
And yes, there is a very high chance you will be talked about unfavorably on a future episode (no names if that’s a legal issue, but the story will probably get told).
The whole point is to create something fun, honest, and safe for you, for me, and for anyone who comes through the door or tunes in.

If you’re still down after reading all this, you’re probably exactly the kind of guest arunninthought is meant for.
